A little program to count lines in selected file. Purely written in C.

This program is designed for portability. No Win32 API, or anything Windows related that spoils portability.

To compile this project, you will certainly need a C compiler. If you need a C compiler in Windows, see this links: https://jmeubank.github.io/tdm-gcc/ (MinGW-w64) https://www.mingw-w64.org/ (TDM-GCC)

To compile in Windows, execute this command: mingw32-make in project folder.

On Linux, you only need to run one command. For distro based on Debian: sudo apt install build-essential -y and compile executing make.

This type of software is used to count the amount of code that has been written in a project.
